A biochemistry graduate of Stockton University in New Jersey, Brian Petruzzi supervises operations at 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria as the company CEO. Beyond his work, Brian Petruzzi supports the Atlantic City Rescue Mission (ACRM), a faith-based nonprofit that meets the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the underserved through its provisions of food, shelter, and counseling.

One of the key aspects of the ACRM program model is its Mission Farms, which offer volunteer opportunities and provide a place for people to develop work skills that may lead them away from life on the streets. The farms also move vulnerable people away from the distractions and temptations of the city and into a rural environment.
Consisting of two farming cooperatives, the Mission Farms also help the ACRM provide food to the people it serves. In 2016 alone, the Mission Farms produced more than 30,000 pounds of produce, which supported the ACRM Community Food Basket and Kitchen initiatives.v
