An entrepreneur based in New Jersey, Brian Petruzzi is the founder and CEO of 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria, which offers personalized pizzas baked in revolving brick ovens that reach 1000 degrees. In April of 2017, Brian Petruzzi’s company announced the opening of a new franchise in Toledo, Ohio.

Located at 5380 Monroe Street, the new restaurant is owned by Kevin Orians, a Toledo resident and marketing research executive. Mr. Orians' aim is to provide Toledo residents with a premium choice for fast-casual pizza, and he believes 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria is the best way to achieve this goal.
In addition to items on the menu, the restaurant offers a build-your-own pizza option that allows customers to select from more than 35 sauces, cheeses, vegetables, meats, and other toppings. The restaurant opened on April 13, 2017, with the first 10 guests receiving free pizza for an entire year. All first-day visitors who liked 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria on Facebook or followed on Twitter or Instagram received a free 10-inch pizza.
